Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Newton Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
  • ACLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Nursing or related field.
