QuadMed is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician I to support our Health & Wellness Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare revolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and train Pharmacy Tech Trainees and Pharm Tech I in technical skills
  • Assist in preparing prescriptions, including entering patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system
  • Support Pharmacists in filling prescriptions, including pulling stock, pouring, counting, restocking, packaging, labeling, and pricing
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and inviting pharmacy environment
  • Assist Pharmacists in preparing, reconciling, and billing third-party insurance claims
  • Order, receive, rotate, and store product to ensure quality controls
  • Reconcile daily merchandise orders and maintain confidentiality in compliance with federal HIPAA regulations
  • Organize and file records, maintain product labels, signs, and prices, and keep work areas clean and safe
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
  • Minimum two years' experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
