We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at GreenLife Healthcare Staffing. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining patient records.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including cameras and computers
- Develop and implement patient care plans to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging results and treatment plans
- 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in nuclear medicine
- Valid license or certification in the state of practice, if applicable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful situations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned facilities
