Job Summary:

This position is responsible for performing field work related to facility and equipment issues at all CAPS pharmacies. The successful candidate will ensure that pharmacies remain in physical compliance with requirements and that any required work is done in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design cleanrooms, equipment, and facilities to meet regulatory requirements
  • Implement improvements to pharmacies to enhance efficiency and safety
  • Project manage new facilities and facility improvements to ensure timely completion
  • Examine pharmacy equipment and facilities for wear and function, and initiate repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Research alternate methods and equipment needed at each pharmacy, and procure replacement equipment as required
  • Perform on-site repairs to facilities and equipment whenever possible, and supervise work performed by contractors at each pharmacy
  • Travel to pharmacies to perform or aid in the completion of projects, and respond to and perform requests for service and equipment from pharmacies
  • Provide feedback and status of on-going projects to manager, and initiate projects to correct deficiencies noted in the field
  • Research and implement cost improvement projects, and assist other departments as needed to meet company priorities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training
  • Autocad and Microsoft Office skills, including Project for Windows
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to travel frequently to pharmacies
