Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team at Staffmark Group. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
  • Keep the inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
  • Provide assistance to other manufacturing areas as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience receiving or warehousing, including sit-down forklift experience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift 50 pounds.
