Scripps Oncology Partners, a leading cancer treatment center in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients with cancer, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines.
- Assess patient health status, collect and record nursing assessment and interventions, and review and report results to the provider.
- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician, prepare and administer medications and blood products, and maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs, and support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must maintain continuing education requirements.
- 3-5 years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology, preferred.

Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
