Job Title: Cardiac Medical Unit Nursing Assistant

This is a per diem position, offering a mix of shifts. You may also be required to float to other areas as needed.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the Cardiac Medical Unit for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you will be an integral member of the unit-based care delivery team, providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and their family members.

You will be an advocate for your patient and understand your role in maintaining a safe patient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of duties, including Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, changing bed, assistance with bathing/showering, helping patients get dressed, and assistance with meal times.
  • Assist with Transfers and Ambulation, removal of Foley's, prepping patients for cardiac procedures, and ambulation.
Requirements:
  • Current registration in the State of New Hampshire as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA).
  • Ability to utilize and navigate electronic clinical documentation systems to enter patient data.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).

Note: If not BLS certified through AHA, must obtain within 21 days from date of hire.
