About the Role

As a Traffic Control Specialist at Star Construction, LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the public while maintaining a smooth flow of traffic on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct multi-directional traffic with appropriate signage and general labor duties
  • Perform traffic control and flagging activities
  • Responsible for following safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites
  • Place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices as needed
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • 1 or more years of flagging experience
  • Knowledge of techniques of traffic control
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations, and safety standards in hazardous traffic environments as well as federal and state safety laws and regulations
Additional Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Abilities and Exposures
  • Routinely: Use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear. Will also stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. Employee must be able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds and lift or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Occasionally: bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Compensation

$15.00 To $17.00 / hr (based on experience)
