Bluestone Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and credit risk management, with the ability to evaluate complex financial data and make informed decisions. The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial condition of existing and prospective individuals and businesses applying for credit with the Bank, determining credit worthiness. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and review supporting documentation for underwriting and recommend approval or rejection of credit requests. Additionally, the Senior Commercial Credit Analyst will provide guidance to other Credit Analysts within the department. Key responsibilities include:
* Analyzing complex loan data and financial information on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions and Bank files.
* Completing Credit Memo/Underwriting of requests for commercial credit, remote deposit capture, and ACH customers with the Bank.
* Preparing spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank Officers on new, renewal and existing loans.
* Identifying possible negative trends in customer accounts and performing quarterly financial reviews.
* Assigning risk ratings to each borrower of the bank.
* Providing technical support to loan officers and other credit analysts.
* Performing all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting, and at least three years of credit analysis experience. Strong financial analytical abilities, detailed oriented, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn and properly use various software programs are essential.
