Dietary Manager

Job Summary

The Dietary Manager is a key member of the Canyon Creek Behavioral Health team, responsible for overseeing the food service operations in our acute care psychiatric hospital. This role requires a strong background in food service management, with experience in managing a team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all food service activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
• Supervise a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with the Director of Plant Operations to develop and implement food service policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in food service management, with a strong background in team leadership and customer service.
• Food Handler Certification and knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and vendors.
