This position will lead capital engineering initiatives and collaborate with relevant vendors to ensure project completion. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Manager will have direct oversight of the maintenance team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and estimation of costs for annual and long-term capital budgets.
  • Execute the capital plan, which includes all engineering design and project management, utilizing both internal and external resources.
  • Oversee all facets of building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Establish criteria for evaluating the quality of work performed by both employees and contractors.
  • Supervise the completion of tasks through report reviews, regular site inspections, and discussions with operations and vendors regarding electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC units, electric motors, and control systems.
  • Assess the condition of buildings, equipment, and grounds, recommending enhancements to meet operational needs.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge and experience in project management and facilities administration, with a proven ability to manage projects and personnel effectively.
  • Engage with all organizational levels, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong time management and project scheduling capabilities.
  • Maintain exceptional administrative and follow-up skills to ensure successful maintenance and repair programs.
  • Lead teams effectively to achieve results through available resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in plant maintenance is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PLC and logic controls for high-speed operational equipment.
  • Experience with production environment SAP is advantageous.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is necessary.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Act as a backup in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
