About the Role

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer Principal to lead our bridge design projects in the Pittsburgh, PA market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage bridge design projects to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of our company's strategy to provide best-in-class client service and grow our client base.
  • Collaborate on project pursuits, proposals, scope, and schedules.
  • Lead multi-discipline design efforts, including geotechnical, roadway, permitting, and others.
  • Provide quality assurance review of project-related documentation.
  • Coach and mentor staff across all career levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • P.E. registration in PA, or ability to be registered with reciprocity.
  • 15+ years of proven success assembling plans sets and leading design-build and design-bid-build projects.
  • Prior proposal development and client relationship success.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Proficiency with MicroStation, Civil 3D, and bridge design software.
  • Demonstrated communication and team leadership skills.
