Your Role at Maddox:

In this technician position, you will engage in a hands-on environment where your mechanical and technical expertise will be honed through the reconditioning of dry-type and liquid-filled transformers.

This role is not a typical assembly-line job; instead, it offers a dynamic and fulfilling experience as part of a skilled team focused on rebuilding industrial transformers. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, disassembling, refurbishing, and reassembling electrical transformers.
  • Replacing accessories, cleaning and repairing components, and performing basic MIG welding and metal fabrication.
  • Receiving training in fundamental electrical testing, inventory assessment, painting, and quality control procedures.
