This position is vital in promoting the health and comfort of residents by adhering to rigorous cleanliness and infection prevention standards.
Primary Duties:
Cleaning of Living Spaces:
Conduct daily cleaning routines in resident rooms, communal areas, and other assigned locations.
Engage in dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and other essential cleaning tasks.
Infection Prevention:
Implement established guidelines for infection control and prevention.
Utilize suitable cleaning products and tools to reduce the risk of infection transmission.
Waste Disposal:
Manage waste collection and disposal in line with facility protocols and regulations.
Supplies Management:
Oversee and replenish cleaning materials, personal care items, and other essential supplies.
Notify supervisors of any equipment issues or supply deficiencies.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with other departments, including nursing and maintenance, to address specific needs and concerns.
Effectively communicate with residents and their families regarding housekeeping operations.
Safety Standards:
Comply with safety protocols and procedures to mitigate accidents and injuries.
