Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher-Steward to join our team at The Oneida Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas. This includes bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, as well as resetting dining areas and kitchen stations. You will also assist with cleaning machines and appliances, unloading and storing deliveries, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans. In addition, you may be required to support other restaurant staff members with various tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas. * Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations. * Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc. * Unload and store deliveries. * Sweep and mop floors, especially in the event of broken or spilled items. * Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans. * Support other restaurant staff members with various tasks and responsibilities. * Interact and occasionally have unsupervised contact with guests and/or colleagues. * Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility. * Represent the company with a certain level of reputation and good character, as well as exercise sound judgment.
