About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our animal care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, exams, and treatments
  • Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing patients and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and their pets
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion and empathy for animals and their owners
