Job Summary:
We are dedicated to enriching the lives of children on the autism spectrum. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission-driven care model. You will deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
- Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification
- Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
- Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
