Job Title: Travel Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Technician

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team as a Travel Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Technician. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other medical imaging tests, to diagnose and treat heart and cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other medical imaging tests
  • Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns
  • Prescribe tests, treatments, and/or surgery when necessary
  • Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients
  • Interpret test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning
  • Use medical imaging equipment to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions
  • Assist and/or perform surgery as needed
  • Prescribe medication to treat heart and/or cardiovascular disease
  • Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology
  • Current one year - radiology/cardiology X-Ray tech experience
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
  • BLS - American Heart Association
  • ARRT
  • New Mexico Radiology Tech License
