We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of room revenue, managing guest accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Balance and audit room revenue, cashier's reports, and guest accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Guest Service: Assist guests with arrival and departure, provide positive guest experiences, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Accounting and Reporting: Prepare and transmit daily management and accounting reports, and assist in the preparation of revenue and expense reports.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions, process guest accounts, and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons, and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, and college degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous hotel Front Desk and Marriott brand experience is preferred, with a background in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work on a regular basis, including varied shifts, including Weekday, Evenings, weekends, and holidays, with some lifting required.
This position requires regular attendance, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the hotel. The Night Auditor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
