Shields Health Care Group is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a PET Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operate PET equipment to produce high-quality images and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas and body products.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams, following all Shields Health Care Group policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide accurate and timely results.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry in the Tech Data Entry program.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to patients, families, and referring community.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- State license for the state(s) in which employed to work.
- Certification in CPR.
- Registration by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.
- A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
- Extensive interactions with all customer groups, including patients, families, referring community, and other SHC employees.
- Regular interactions with contractors, vendors, and medical transport personnel.
