Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing a variety of essential duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both production and facility equipment. This role is crucial in enhancing production uptime and quality, thereby supporting the achievement of PTF Industrial Coatings' operational goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the maintenance and repair efforts for a range of equipment, from small to specialized machinery.
  • Conducting daily inspections of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Implementing regular preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, checking, and lubricating components.
  • Diagnosing issues by observing equipment in operation and utilizing precision measuring instruments.
  • Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Researching, identifying, and procuring necessary parts.
  • Establishing and maintaining an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Documenting maintenance and repair activities meticulously.
  • Enhancing equipment uptime through routine preventive measures.
  • Participating in general facility maintenance tasks, including painting and repairs.
  • Being available for on-call and callback duties as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is highly active and requires:

  • Frequent standing, walking, balancing, bending, kneeling, and other physical activities.
  • Regular lifting and/or moving of items weighing over 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision capabilities, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
