PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Welding Specialist will be tasked with welding various components including frames and legs.


Key Duties:
  • Set up and operate welding equipment (TIG and MIG)
  • Select appropriate jigs and fixtures as required
  • Weld aluminum and steel products
  • Perform drilling and grinding operations as necessary
  • Inspect welded components and rectify any out-of-spec parts
  • Collaborate with team members on daily tasks and special projects
  • Maintain a clean workspace following 5S and safety protocols
  • Recognize workplace hazards and actively participate in safety initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and BOMs
  • Proficient in welding techniques

  • Ability to identify and suggest process improvements

  • Familiarity with computer-generated production boards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirement:

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in welding

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands:

  • Standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours/day)
  • Frequent hand movements for manipulation of objects
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs

Safety Equipment Required:

  • Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses
  • Welding mask and other personal protective equipment
