Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at HSMC. As a member of our trans-disciplinary team, you will provide essential services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support the development of infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of services and support.
  • Provide home-based services, including screenings, assessments, and interventions, to families across the catchment area.
  • Participate in child groups, parent groups, and center visits to support the development of infants and toddlers.
  • Coordinate the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for assigned caseload.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a graduate program of a college or university.
  • Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate.
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365, including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to use computer-based technology, including a computer/laptop and cell phone.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
