Fixed Equipment Inspector

Chevron is seeking applications for the role of Fixed Equipment Inspector. This position involves providing inspection services across various refinery process units and associated facilities. The primary focus is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of fixed equipment through systematic inspections and guidance on quality repairs that comply with corporate and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled inspections and coordinate internal and external compliance assessments for tanks, vessels, columns, and piping.
- Implement and uphold equipment reliability plans, utilizing a risk-based inspection (RBI) approach for the designated area.
- Engage in design reviews for new constructions to verify adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in planning inspection scopes during turnarounds and manage requirements such as internal inspections, necessary repairs, and non-destructive examination (NDE) scheduling.
- Maintain comprehensive inspection data, records, recommendations, and repair documentation using reliability data management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fundamental understanding of refinery process unit operations.
- Experience in supporting Fixed Equipment Asset Strategy initiatives, including creating and implementing asset strategy tasks, establishing acceptance criteria, and documenting results.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Additional Information:
Relocation assistance is not available for this position, and only local candidates will be considered. Expatriate assignments will not be entertained. Chevron is unable to sponsor employment visas or consider individuals on time-limited visa status for this role.
