Job Description
We are seeking a Senior IT Leadership Position in our Milford, MA office. The successful candidate will manage multiple medium to large-sized projects, utilizing industry standards and best practices. Your responsibilities will include creating comprehensive project plans, identifying and managing risks, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure key decisions are made on implementation and timelines. This role requires strong leadership and business skills, with the ability to adapt to different project needs and constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to varied environments and timelines.
Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and coordination of all activities, including project health, status reporting, and problem resolution.
Effectively communicate and manage project expectations and status to managers, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal resources and third parties/vendors, utilizing best practices in project management, change management, and communication methods.
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate.
Manage and track implementation issues/risks/scope creep to achieve a successful go live and stabilization phase.
Continue to grow knowledge of business domain to add value to subsequent projects and manage more effectively.
Requirements:
Strong full life-cycle project management skills leveraging industry best practices and methodologies.
2+ years of relevant experience in IT Project Management, ERP experience a strong plus.
Extensive experience with the software implementation life cycle.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with different and strong personalities.
Strong business and leadership skills. An ability to take the bull by the horns and make things happen.
Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
Advanced MS Office acumen (Teams, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to work with users at all levels within the organization.
Must be available for approximately 15% travel facilities within Upstate New York and New England.
Occasional night and weekend work as required.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
Benefits:
