MRI Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As an MRI Technician, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations for diagnostic purposes and label and display photographic images.
- Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis.
- Maintain records, images, and the cleanliness of assigned area.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiology technology, MRI training and meets the requirement for certification by the ARRT.
- Valid license by the State of New York, Injection registered.
