Job Summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deep fry, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods to meet customer expectations.
  • Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing to ensure quality and safety.
  • Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning and measuring ingredients according to recipes.
  • Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures and ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance.
  • Manage food inventory and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Encourage good customer relations through product promotion and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
  • Culinary experience preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional food presentation skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
