Abile Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures to support our Intelligence Community customer.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with corporate and customer leadership to develop enterprise-wide network security solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
- Assist in the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of state-of-the-art secure network architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide design recommendations to ensure the security and integrity of our networks.
- Manage WAN, LAN, CAN, and remote network security, as well as support Tier 3 incidents and problem management.
- Oversee security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration, including firewalls, F5 load balancers, web gateways, mail gateways, IDS, and management tools.
- Develop and execute standard operating procedures for security tools and evaluate new network security technologies to enhance our capabilities.
- Act as a liaison to contract and customer management and government Designated Approving Authority (DAA) regarding network security status, policies, and procedures.
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI poly
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 6+ years of related technical experience in Network Security and experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a highly diverse environment
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ minimum to start)
- Must obtain a CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months of hire
- CSSP certification
- Expert knowledge of IP services
- Experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto Firewall, F5 Load Balancer, Cisco FTD/ASA
- Experience with Unix, RHELS OS, Windows Enterprise AD architecture, and VMWare virtualization
