Area Representative

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Area Representative to join our team in Northern Harford County. As a key member of our ministry team, you will play a vital role in fulfilling our mission to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

• Ministerial Duties:
  • Embody and uphold FCA's Christian Community Statement, demonstrating a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.
  • Lead by example, providing spiritual leadership and guidance to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, and living out biblical standards.
  • Connect with and participate in a local church, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct, aligning with FCA's Christian beliefs.
• Ministry Advancement:
  • Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through one-on-one ministry, Huddles, and Events, helping them grow in their faith and become disciples who make disciples.
  • Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes, providing them with the tools and resources needed to effectively execute their responsibilities.
• Talent Advancement:
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
  • Recruit highly qualified volunteers, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Train volunteers to develop their skills and increase their capacity and competence, helping them grow spiritually and personally.
• Board Advancement:
  • Build and maintain a strong Advisory Team, comprised of individuals committed to prayer, service, and giving.
• Donor Advancement:
  • Connect with and care for existing and prospective financial partners, ensuring they are fully funded and equipped to support the ministry.
  • Manage and steward finances for the assigned area of responsibility, establishing and executing an annual budget and funding plan.
• International Advancement:
  • Collaborate with the Director to serve the aligned International Region, praying, giving, and going to advance the ministry.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong passion for FCA's mission and values, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, building strong relationships with staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes.
