Job Description

Albion General Contractors, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing initial and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and seamless project execution in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently perform all assigned activities associated with the field performance of contracts awarded to the company.
  • Participate in construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Assist in the coordination of all construction-related activities.
  • Identify potential issues on the project and utilize resources to find resolution.
  • Assume responsibility for productivity of subcontractors, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
  • Complete, maintain, and submit all required reports, logs, punch lists, etc. associated with the project.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in a field role in the industrial construction industry.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors on a project.
  • Maintain project schedule and ensure materials are on site.
  • Knowledge of the construction process.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Raken.
  • Preferred 10-Hour or 30-Hour OSHA certification.
