About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a circulating nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Operating Room, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist with surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform other nursing tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
  • BCLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of transfer or hire to department.
  • PALS certification within 6 months of transfer or hire to department.
  • Minimum College Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN preferred.
  • Experience in surgical nursing or a related field.
  • CNOR certification preferred.
