Job Summary: As a Meat Cutter at Safeway, you will be responsible for preparing meat in salable sizes and condition for wrapping and eventual display and sale to customers. This includes cutting, trimming, chopping, grinding, and otherwise preparing meats and placing them on trays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate saws, grinders, and other meat processing machinery to prepare meat products.
- Inspect and sort meat products to ensure quality and freshness.
- Remove expired meat products from display to maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers.
