About the Position

This is a continuous contract faculty position with a competitive salary in a well-established, CACREP-accredited, counselor education program within a private, non-religiously affiliated institution.

Responsibilities
  • Teach master's level courses in a face-to-face format
  • Develop and implement curriculum and program development
  • Establish a student-inclusive research program
  • Supervise counseling students and interns
  • Contribute to student admissions and advising
  • Collaborate with agencies, schools, and the regional mental health community
  • Participate in department and college-level service
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision
  • License-eligible to practice in Utah
  • Supervisory and clinical experience in multiple clinical settings
  • Research potential
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Successful face-to-face teaching at the graduate level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple years of successful teaching at the graduate level
  • Publications in a peer-reviewed journal and/or presentations at a regional or national counseling conference
  • At least two (2) years of full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor
