Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work as a seasoned Electrician on a 2+ year long project with a specialty trade contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, safety standards, and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and consultation on electrical systems for construction projects.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for complex electrical issues.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and building regulations.
  • Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems, identifying any issues and recommending necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation, providing clear and concise information on electrical systems and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and other team members.
  • Assist in the planning and design of electrical systems for new construction projects.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing expert input on all matters related to electrical systems.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Proven experience in consulting or a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and building regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex electrical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • A valid electrician's license.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
