Our Porsche Westlake dealership is on the lookout for a Parts Consultant. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to advance your automotive career. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the success of Rusnak Group by effectively selling parts to both internal and external clients, whether over the counter, through the service department, or via phone, contributing to the achievement of individual and departmental sales goals aligned with our strategic vision.

Responsibilities:

Achieve Company Expectations for Gross Profit and Sales

  • Sell parts and accessories to internal and external clients.
  • Handle all client inquiries via phone and in-person with a high level of service; provide pricing information and review estimates to ensure accuracy.
  • Promote departmental sales initiatives; ensure clients are informed about the full product range and any special offers.
  • Plan and coordinate activities to ensure timely identification, procurement, and delivery of parts.
  • Ensure accurate billing for all internal client parts requests.
  • Maintain appropriate gross profit margins for each client and payment type.
  • Process client payments efficiently, ensuring all sales receipts are signed.
  • Assist the Parts Manager in tracking lost sales.

Manage the Company’s Parts Inventory Effectively

  • Accurately process parts billing and credits.
  • Notify management of out-of-stock items and discrepancies promptly.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Inform clients and service consultants when special orders arrive.
  • Prepare orders for delivery to the service department and ensure proper tagging.
  • Set up daily orders for shipment and replenish inventory as necessary.
  • Track and follow up on back-ordered parts.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in selecting parts for returns.
  • Maintain an effective physical storage layout and department security.
  • Input material return authorizations and manage tool issuance to technicians.
  • Keep accurate records for all repair orders, invoices, and special orders.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of relevant automotive parts experience preferred.
  • Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record.

High School Diploma/GED: Required
Licenses Required:
Valid CA Driver License
