We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Critical Care Travel Nurse to join our team at LCMC Health East Jefferson General Hospital. As a critical care travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThis 13-week contract position requires a RN with 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical Tele/PCU setting, preferably with Epic experience. The ideal candidate will have worked in a cardiac tele unit with experience interpreting strips and making clinical decisions regarding cardiac medication administration and drip titration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care in a Medical-Surgical Tele/PCU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, including cardiazem and amiodarone, as per physician orders
- Interpret ECG strips and make clinical decisions regarding cardiac medication administration and drip titration
- RN license with 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Tele/PCU setting
- Epic experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and PALS certifications required
- CPI certification preferred
- Competitive salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
- $100-$125 per hour
- $145,000 - $170,000 per 13 weeks
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekend and holiday shifts required
