Job Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
Complete comprehensive audiological evaluations for adults and pediatric patients
Conduct immittance testing and other diagnostic procedures

Advanced Diagnostic Techniques:
VNG testing
VEMP, ECOG, BAER testing
Tinnitus management using evidence-based approaches
Earmold fabrication for noise and water protection
Hearing aid dispensing for adults and pediatric patients
Verification of hearing aid benefits
FM and ALD dispensing

General Job Functions:
Assess hearing and balance across the lifespan
Counsel patients and families/caregivers regarding hearing loss and its implications
Provide recommendations for managing hearing loss in various environments
Evaluate, fit, and dispense hearing aids for patients of all ages
Manage tinnitus patients using evidence-based approaches
Coordinate care with other professionals

Education, Certification, and Training Requirements:

  • Master's degree in audiology or a related field; Doctorate degree preferred; CFY considered; must have CCC-A certification.
Travel

  • Travel to other locations as needed by the department.
