OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient receiving and scheduling of inbound shipments at our facility. This position demands exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate management of the receiving process, including documentation and data entry. Additionally, the supervisor will handle the reception of non-finished goods, such as maintenance and accessory items.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure strict adherence to receiving protocols and documentation accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic audits to verify receiving accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage all receiving paperwork, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Oversee the receiving and staging processes for all inbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with team leads to enhance safety, inventory management, and transaction accuracy.
  • Contribute to warehouse design and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform root cause analysis to address systemic and physical receiving challenges.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations within the consumer products sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in conducting physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • At least 3 years of experience operating material handling equipment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of receiving practices and transaction accuracy.
  • Understanding of inbound freight and carrier requirements.
  • Ability to train others on receiving processes.
  • Proficient in using scanning technology and interfacing with various software systems.
