POSITION OVERVIEW: The selected individual will play a crucial role in executing engineering initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing, strategizing, organizing, budgeting, and executing engineering initiatives.
- Drafting technical documentation and performing data analysis through computational methods.
- Evaluating projects to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Generating monthly reports and relevant data.
- Creating permit submissions, official correspondence, and necessary reports for regulatory bodies.
- Leading studies and research initiatives.
- Collaborating with external organizations.
- Formulating technical specifications for engineering initiatives.
- Ensuring oversight and quality control of engineering projects.
- Assisting in strategic planning and proposing policies and objectives.
- Representing the Authority at technical symposiums and serving as a liaison.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing the Drone and GIS Programs.
- Utilizing AUTOCAD software for project design.
- May involve supervisory duties.
- Carrying out other assigned responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required. Strong project management capabilities are preferred. A valid driver's license is necessary, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
Proficiency in engineering principles, research methodologies, and mathematical concepts is essential. Familiarity with engineering standards and applicable regulations is required. The ability to compile reports, analyze data, and effectively manage personnel is crucial.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role involves various physical tasks and may necessitate lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. It also requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. There may be potential exposure to environmental and safety risks.
