Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Encompass Onsite LLC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the environmental operations and ensuring a clean and efficient process for our assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for ensuring client requests are assigned to personnel and completed in a timely manner daily
  • Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to maintain a clean environment
  • Assign workers their duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
  • Handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, and comply with regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and State Health Department
  • Plan work schedules for major tasks and inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
  • Issue supplies and equipment to workers and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment
  • Conduct in-service training of assigned employees and attend training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures
  • Record data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepare periodic reports
  • Attend staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints

Requirements:

  • Minimum of at least 2 years previous supervisory experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid Florida Driver's license
  • Floorcare experience

Physical Demands:

  • This position demands good physical and mental health
  • The housekeeper supervisor will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and work a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to move continuously during work hours and lift and/or carry 30 to 45 pounds
