Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage client projects, including tax strategy formulation and implementation
  • Mentor and develop junior staff on tax-related assignments
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand service offerings to clients
  • Review tax filings and provide insights for accuracy and potential tax savings
  • Conduct primary evaluations of ASC 740 income tax provision projects
  • Research and provide guidance on various tax issues
  • Address inquiries from tax authorities
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and manage project engagements effectively
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities
  • Uphold professional standards and maintain client confidentiality
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in tax compliance and/or advisory roles
  • CPA certification or active law license is mandatory
  • Experience in public accounting is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
  • Proficient in US GAAP and corporate income tax regulations
  • Familiarity with income tax compliance and advisory practices
  • Excellent client service and communication abilities
  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision is beneficial
  • Strong collaborative skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Competitive salary range $116,600 - $175,000
