Occupational Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Health Staff RN to join our team at Wellstar Health System. As a RN Resident, you will be part of our Nurse Residency Program, designed to support your transition into professional practice and provide a comprehensive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to assigned patients in accordance with current Wellstar Standards of Care.
- Participate in the Nurse Residency Program, including System Orientation, Core Nursing Onboarding Sessions, Specialty Onboarding Sessions, and monthly NRP sessions.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure patients receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care.
- Uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics Standards for Nurses put forth by the American Nurses Association.
- Participate in data collection, pose relevant clinical questions to advanced evidence-based practice, and proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree BSN Preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Optimizes the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate with various members of the healthcare team.
- Computer/data entry experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and have basic computer operational knowledge.
