Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Operating Room Nurse to join our team at PennState Health. As a Per Diem Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period.
