About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Spectrum Health Services, Inc. As a key member of our dental department, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists and dental hygienists, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Your Responsibilities
This full-time position involves assisting dentists and dental hygienists with the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients. You will be responsible for preparing the operatory, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining inventory control of dental instruments and supplies. Additional tasks will include:
  • Assisting patients with resolving minor difficulties, answering their questions, and giving directions as authorized by the dentist or dental hygienist.
  • Serving as a chair-side assistant to the dentist or dental hygienist.
  • Preparation of prosthetic laboratory cases.

You will also participate in health promotion/disease prevention activities, assist with various clinical and administrative functions of the center, and travel when necessary. To perform this job successfully, you must be able to prioritize assignments and responsibilities, attend to multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
