Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Peoples Family of Corporations. As a Youth Medicine LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced community-based health center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily preparation of exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  • Explain procedures and treatments to patients to gain cooperation and understanding.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice.
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatment and examination of patients.
  • Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisors or physicians as needed.
  • Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess patient condition.
  • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Accredited college or university nursing program degree with an unencumbered license in Missouri.
