Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

At Interim HealthCare, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering personalized care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care and support to patients, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels, and document any changes
  • Work collaboratively with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Colorado
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
  • No Covid Vaccination Required
  • Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
