Position Overview:
Naval Systems is seeking a skilled Journeyman Acquisition/Program Management Analyst to contribute to our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the MDA C3PO Program Office by overseeing the Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) approval process. This includes the Pre-Acquisition Strategy Panel, Acquisition Strategy Panel, and Acquisition Strategy Board (ASB).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and resolve issues throughout the Acquisition Strategy Panel approval process.
- Ensure compliance with all MDA standards and policies during the development, documentation, and execution of ASP/ASBs.
- Review and analyze acquisition documentation, including acquisition strategies, Independent Government Cost Estimates, schedules, and Statements of Work to ensure alignment between planning and execution strategies.
- Support the Government by ensuring proper documentation and approval of ASPs in accordance with Federal Government, DoD, and MDA processes and policies.
- Maintain and update the MDA's eCART database, DA Acquisition Support (DAXS) tracker, and toolkit, while providing acquisition strategy advice to program and functional offices.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience directly supporting ACAT I/II programs or the acquisition of services within the DoD as an acquisition/program analyst, with a focus on cost, schedule, and performance oversight.
- Proven experience in preparing milestone decision packages or equivalent documentation.
- Knowledge of acquisition strategy preparation for an Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board or equivalent.
- Experience in reviewing, processing, and formulating strategy products.

Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with MDA acquisition processes.
  • Experience with MDA and BMDS programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Project.
  • Previous DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management or equivalent.

Security Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
