Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truss Stacker to join our team at PeopleReady. As a Truss Stacker, you will be responsible for stacking and banding trusses to ensure they are ready for shipping. This role requires basic carpentry skills, including cutting wood to form trusses and loading delivery trucks. You will also be cross-trained at the lumber facility for saw, truss, and delivery truck operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Stack trusses to ensure they are neatly arranged and ready for shipping.
  • Band trusses together to create tight stacks that can be safely handled.
  • Inspect trusses for any gaps in joints, missing plates, or trusses that do not match the configuration of other trusses.
  • Notify table leaders of any truss problems.
  • Attach seat plates to trusses as needed.
  • Keep the truss staging area clean and free of debris.
Requirements:
  • Basic carpentry skills, including cutting wood and loading delivery trucks.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and frequently bend and lift throughout the shift.
  • Background check and drug test required.
