About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Barnes & Noble. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences by crafting high-quality beverages and providing top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, building rapport, and listening to their needs.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of handcrafted beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and make recommendations to customers to enhance their experience.

Requirements

  • Possess a passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with the ability to move quickly and efficiently in a busy cafe environment.
