Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc.

• No dialysis experience is required, but a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Training may take place in a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
• Potential to float to various clinics during and after training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct patient care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Care for multiple patients simultaneously.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Must be able to mix acid or bicarb.
• Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet.
